you do not get your pension at 60 if you were born in 1956 i was born 1955 and its age 66 when you can claim it not before then if you were born after oct 1954. well and truly robbed. Women have always been discriminated against, having to juggle working, looking after their family and caring for elderly parents and Grandchildren without any help. Being one of these women .The 1950s backto60 group of more than 3.8 million women like me forced to work 6 more years to 1966. We are not Super women, we are just Women that needed to retire as we are struggling to cope with it all, after having our Pensions moved to 6 years without informing us So sad I am 64 in December so .
